Humbug.... DDR2 1200 or go home.

We have plenty of crappy low frequency high latency ddr2 kits to choose from already that have been out for years. :shadedshu

yea it's doomed to fail!!! unless offering better CAS latency..
so many strong brands out there, like Corsair, Super Talent, OCZ even sold at better price!!!
really don't understand the point, as advertised GAMING RAM??? but all naked without any heatsinks.. oh come on!

Thats a dual 4gig set so dont expect to see them with real tight timings yet.

"yet"?

How many years has DDR2 been out now? And how many years have we had kits of similar sizes with better speeds and better latencys? :nutkick:

I guess the only big thing here is the the 4GB sticks for the 8GB and 16Gb kits. If those are reasonably priced, could be a nice upgrade for those who need "all the RAM they can get"

ya those timings are aweful... their "ultra" runs about at the same as the value models and off-brands... what crap.

I'm so Mageiling!
One thing everyone needs to realize is that these are 4GBsticks of RAM, that's why they have loose timings.
So a pair of them = 8GB, and 4 sticks = 16GB.

So many people with grade 4 reading comprehension.

This isn't a 4GB set, it's an 8GB set. 2x4GB.

What i was trying to say but i worded it wrong cause i was in a hurry. They are 4gig STICKS so dont expect the latencies to be low yet. Or speed to be up there, that goes for DDR3 as well.
