XFX Eyefinity-ready Monitor Stand Hits Retail

AMD Radeon board partner XFX designed its triple-head monitor stand to make life easy for AMD Eyefinity and NVIDIA 3DVision Surround users. The stand holds up to three flat-panel displays in perfect alignment, and gives you control over the viewing angle, tilt, and panning of each display. This is handled by three VESA mount standard-compliant joints along the two arms and a central beam. The arms and trunk of the stand are made of durable steel, and a space-age base holds it all, to sustain balance. The base, along with the hollow trunk and arms facilitate better cable management, the base even acts as a USB 2.0 and audio hub. The XFX Triple Display stand is listed on Amazon for US $367.06.

There are not a lot of these things out it the wild, and I think most of them are at this price.

I considered this for a moment... until i saw the price, its £356 at scan, over £100 more than the other triple screen stand there :(

The cost of these really make me consider spending more like £120 on three separate stands to give me the ability to easily swap between portrait and landscape.

If you can afford to game with 3 monitors and the graphics card(s) and CPU needed to power them, then you can afford this stand...doesn't change the fact that a triple monitor setup is overkill, anyway.

Probably better to just get a bigger desk and use the stands that came with the monitors.

I'd be interested to see how much it costs XFX to make one of those...

Glad I went with three cheap $25 desk/wall-mount brackets from Monoprice instead of this expensive piece or a huge desk.

Seriously this, i just ordered a bunch of stuff from monoprice and was pleasantly surprised at the quality, i could hang myself on the wall with the mount i got for my 32 inch.

Seems to me the same ergotech triple stand with a new XFX-labeled base and even a higher price tag :(

And bbmarley join the eyefinity club (if not already) .

What a complete and utter logical fallacy. People who can afford to buy houses should be able to afford high end cars of equal value, right?

I have 3 Dell 2408s, I also want a stand, but this price is a complete rip off and actually cost a lot more than I paid for my third 2408.

But don't forget about people like me who have a big enough desk but really cheeped out on the monitors and they all have stands that don't allow height adjustment or the ability to flip between portrait and landscape, both features i want but not bad enough to spend £356, i spent roughly £300 for 3 22" monitors so it's at least £50 more than they cost me just for a stand.

Although being so cheap with the monitors probably just shows that i should just do the same with the stands and get three cheap ones.
