This makes me sad. Every time I look at my g.skill flares I'll know they're not pheonix's D:

But I am very impressed with G.Skill on how well they build their memory. Can't wait to see the price tag on these.

Finally ~500MB/s G.skill.
Unfortunately it is not in store today or online today available so today's SSD purchase USD$250 is still old primitive 128GB Samsung 470 not by choice but by reliability / only decent choice in the store.

It is good to see all the new 500MB/s ssd's out as OCZ has constant issues with their quality control / DOA / 2 days / 2 weeks / 2 months constant failures and hopefully G.Skill, Corsair Force3, Adata would be able to provide something that has more than 40% chance of not being DOA as rated by users.

Nice to see they are providing more choice with the other hardware. I love G.Skill products.

48GB should make a decent sized ramdrive / ramdisk.
