ya know honestly how much better can a HD 2000 series card get Let alone HD 3000 when 3870 is just a 2900XT thats been power optimized? Unless if theres any major problems/bugs with them i think amd could eol them but provide a bug/problem report system with them and hotfix/ quarterly driver releases.

One interesting thing worth mentioning. My AMD E-450 (HD6320) just got MLAA feature with this driver update. Gotta love the AMD Fusion :)

Unless this OCs them to over 9000, then I don't see it helping those older cards out much!

Does anyone know whether this driver is the same or has less updates than 12.1a? I'm thinking I should just skip this one and go to 12.2 preview driver.

I have 11.12 and catalyst says no updates needed so I haven't bothered to manually update. I guess none of the future ones offer performance upgrades for 5770?

Autoupdates are hit n miss. Unless youre having issues with games you play i wouldnt upgrade drivers before seeing other results first...
