Crysis 3 Pre-Orders Spotted with Leaked Banner
Rock, Paper, Shotgun stumbled across the German site Neogaf which leaked pre-order screens and a banner depicting the Crysis nanosuit with a bow and arrow. Which seems sort of incongruous to the nanosuit, but maybe the Strength mode will enable us to shoot arrows that fly for over 20 miles. The leaked screens show the game on Origin listed at $49.99. No other details are known at this time.

but i'd give turok another shot :) Crysis 3 ads already? leaked or not, without admitting they screwed us over with 2? no thanks.
With Crysis 2 we got a console port with DX9 graphics
Following this logic will they make Cryis 3 work on the original Xbox?
Brilliant :)
"We've taken Crysis 3 to the next level, With DX9, AGAIN! Please wait four months for a patch for for DX11. Screw all you PC gamers that bought the original and made us successful. Thank you."
Bah@Crytek
Have started playing it in DX11 again (after the patches) but never finished it. Playing something that you already know just isn't the same as the first time.
just a fail in my books
as for crysis maybe this time hi-res textures and dx11 will be DLC. lol
For the 2 and 3 ......:D
Or so I'd think.
Invisible arrow to the knee?
Pathetic humans ranting in subways but not doing anything to fight back.
Seriously, how hard is it to make Call of Duty 1 and 2 feel positioned in near future with aliens?
Clearly, the biggest problem of most games is that adults make them which clearly lack any kind of decent imagination.
I just want a game where you feel the proper pressure of the invaders, dark and morbid atmosphere and the feel of mankind fighting back for real. It's not that hard, you just need to have some imagination. Same reason why Call of Duty was such boom at the time. They managed to capture the "small cog in a massive war machine" feel no other game managed to capture before. Where you felt as if you were just a tiny part of the whole thing. And that made it unique and special. I want that in Crysis 3.

Not only have you screwed up Crysis 2's coming (yes, I regret pre-ordering that steaming pile of mediocrity); given the Mass Effect fans a giant middle finger twice over (bad endings+"free" dlc to "explain" the bad endings); been named the worst company in America; and tried to use a "flood" of anti-gay e-mails to get the public relations under control, but you're now telling us there is no way you will consider any setting other than New York.
What happened to "this is going on all over the planet, and you've only managed to stop one of them?" Where is the suspense? Do you really find yourselves so creatively bankrupt that the only way to make people feel attachment to a setting is by throwing in a national land mark? Color me disappointed.
Hopefully this game will redeem the second, but I'm not holding my breath. The taint of EA reeks on this one, and I cannot see how it will be able to escape the inevitable...
