This is the same line which Best Buy sold for $450 a year ago. Was an insane price. An A6 Llano at the time with dual graphics/etc. Decent expansion options too according to those who bought it. By the end of summer they stopped selling it and prices on them elsewhere were $100-$150 more.

LOL 1366x768 on 15" screen

how low can you go? I mean I've used 1366x768 on 13" and it was a horrid experience, now imagine that on a 15"!!! im just speechless that ANNO 2012 and this sort of stuff is allowed to happen and still retail for $1000.

7670M GPU do NOT need 2GB of dedicated vram. especially on a gimmick 1366x768 screen, idiots.

Sadly, 1366x768 is the de facto standard resolution for anything 11" to 15". It's enough for 11", but imho too low even for 13".

Full 1080p is required especially when sporting that kind of GPU power. Sad.

Why push out Llano-based models when Trinity is due to come out soon ? This is so ... pointless.

So that they can use, and make some money, on their existing inventory of Llano APUs that they obviously have sitting in a warehouse somewhere... think before you type, 'saddies'.

Nonsense. They could have sold the stocks in existing models. Pushing out a new model means a heap of logistical and support issues which could have easily been avoided.

Wow, it took ASUS pretty much 12 months to release this? Jeez... I feel bad.

I am so going to throw down $ 970 for year old processor... *sarcasm*
