Galaxy Launches the GeForce GTX 680 GC 2 GB Graphics Card

Galaxy Microsystems, a leading manufacturer of custom high-performance NVIDIA graphics cards, announced today the GeForce GTX 680 GC 2 GB - the world's first non-reference GTX 680 design to be approved by NVIDIA.

The custom Galaxy build features a fully redesigned PCB, factory overclocked GPU for extra performance, and a high-efficiency dual fan cooling solution.

The Galaxy GTX 680 GC's custom dual fan cooler is built with specially designed fan blades that significantly reduce noise even at high speeds for a quieter card and more enjoyable gaming experience. These fans are encased in a sleek aluminum shroud with LED effects for a cool, high-tech aesthetic.

The cooler is also equipped with quad nickel-plated heat pipes for more efficient cooling under high loads. Overclocking enthusiasts will find the improved cooling of the Galaxy GTX 680 GC to be indispensable for pushing their clocks to the absolute maximum for the best possible performance.

In addition to improved performance, the GC Edition features all of the technologies and software support of the reference GTX 680 from Galaxy, including GPU Boost, Adaptive Vsync, and PhysX.

The GTX 680 GC 2 GB also has the capability of supporting up to 3 displays for surround gaming with a 4th accessory display, and has as an assortment of outputs to accommodate a wide variety of displays from the most advanced Display Port models to legacy analog monitors by use of an included adapter.

The Galaxy GTX 680 GC 2GB is available now at leading retailers and etailers: Amazon, Best Buy, NCIX, Newegg, and TigerDirect.

LOVE the big fans. Hopefully they'll release a 4 GB version so my computing projects can fit inside the GPU memory completely.
