GIGABYTE X11 Pictured - World's Lightest Ultrabook
Here are the first pictures of the X11 from GIGABYTE, an Ultrabook touted by GIGABYTE to be the "world's lightest". The 11.6-incher, in pictures leaked to the web ahead of its May 31 launch, appears to make use of advanced materials such as carbon fiber, to achieve low weight, apart from structural rigidity, which is key for the form-factor. It retains the "wedge-shape" of several other lightweights, including Apple MacBook Air. Its system specifications are still under the wraps, although we're pretty sure we're looking at a new-generation Intel Core "Ivy Bridge" powered Ultrabook here. Find more pictures at the source.

Especially since the air is due for upgrades in June.
side design like macbook air
yep, it`s own gigabyte invention:laugh:
Would be nice for vacations.
And the Macbook Air pricing certainly does not fall flat on its face. It's still stomping every offering from any other manufacturer.
Pretty sure thats how you define "success"
Anyway this is sexy (not the arrow keys though :P) I've never really liked when notebooks gets thinner and thinner, it feels like it has to stop somewhere and I don't mind bulky machines if it's done properly.
But yeah it does look nice.
