TechPowerUp GPU-Z 0.6.4 Released

TechPowerUp launched the latest version of GPU-Z, the popular graphics sub-system information and diagnostic utility that gives you technical details of installed graphics hardware, and lets you monitor clock-speeds, voltages, temperatures, graphics memory usage, ASIC quality, and several other parameters. Version 0.6.4 adds/refines support for several upcoming NVIDIA GPUs, such as GeForce GTX 660 Ti, GeForce GTX 660, GeForce GTX/S 650, GeForce 610, and GeForce GTX 680M; Intel GMA 3600 (ROP count); AMD "Trinity" APUs (clock reading accuracy) and AMD FirePro 2270.

GPU-Z 0.6.4 also changes the way multiple GPUs in a system are sorted in the GPU selection drop-down list. They are now arranged by display-outputs. GPU-Z now correctly reads memory amount for NVIDIA GPUs with over 4 GB of memory. Support for CHL8288 VRM controller is improved giving accurate temperature readings. A number of stability issues were addressed.

A list of changes follows.

  • Changed sort order of devices to put devices with connected monitor first
  • Fixed memory size reading for NVIDIA cards with 4 GB or more
  • Fixed AMD Trinity Fusion clock readings
  • Added support for NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 Ti, GTX 660, GTX 650, GT 610, GTX 680M
  • Added support for AMD FirePro 2270
  • Fixed ROP and TMU count for Intel GMA 3600
  • Changed sensor label from "VReg Temperature" to "VRM Temperature"
  • Fix for sensors displaying Fahrenheit not being saved properly
  • Added VRM temperature monitoring for CHL8228 based cards
  • Fix for various crashes

Thanks a lot! I just downloaded and used this for the first time and it was a great help in understanding the troubles I've had with my card.

(G92 - ok; GF114 - ok; GF116 - ok (but Pixel Fillrate is still "1/3 bugged")

Thanks for the reply W1zzard. Yes, I did see that thread last year, but the attached build in that thread also gave me the low values with the gf116 just like all the other versions after 0.506.

edit: ok, I understand now how it works, thanks for the info:respect:

0.5.6 shows wron pixel fillrate in my GTX560OC (11.6 GPixels/s) instead of 26.6 GPixels/s [32ROPS*830MHz) (and yes, 0.5.4 shows correct)

Each Fermi Streaming Multiprocessor (SM) does 2 pixels per clock. A GTX 560 has 7 SMs enabled. So it would be 7x2x830=11.62 GPixels/s.

Kepler does 4 pixels per SM per clock if anyone is interested in that.
