Sadly this is good enough for the average user.

What a shame no DVI-D out. Dongles needed to work with high res monitors. I guess the target market is consumer 1080, but real shame, I would have liked to use it to swap out an existing system with high-res screen.

It's got DisplayPort, so I don't see the issue here... and the HDMI port should be 1.3 at least which supports 2650x1600...

I was referring to getting this to work with an existing hi res screen that doesnt have DP. And HDMI (even HDMI 1.3) to DVI-D is problematic... since passive HDMI-DVI dongles are single link and therefore will max at 1920x1080. Or so I understand the situation to be.
