I do like the Black with bronze/orange accents. Very nice indeed, reminds me of the colours for DS3 Racing and the RCZ R both cars of which I highly like.

Although, I've not been that much of a fan of the RAT mice, but a friend of mine has the normal RAT7 and really likes it and he doesn't treat things with the best care...but nothing is broken on it yet-even after about a year.

Hmmm, I'll have to do my research on these mice and see if it's something worth grabbing. They look nifty, but looks is second to performance. If they perform on par with my Logitech G9x, and are comfortable, this looks like a nice option (black and bronze version).

I just can't imagine that being comfortable compared to my currently 3 years old G500.

I was excited for the RAT series and was for sure going to pick up the 9, then I saw they received anywhere from terrible to mediocre reviews. I wonder how many problems have been fixed since the first launch.

Im not sure I understand this. That Black and Orange one has been on my desktop for 6 months now...or did they just add a gloss coating?

The mmo 7 only ever came in black and orange but now it will be available in red and white as well. Now every rat mouse will be available in those color schemes.

I wonder if these will still have tracking issues like the other line of mice.

Ive had two. They both lasted about a year then started "double clicking" everything. Great feel. Best on the market. Just they don't last and the customer service is........meh, to be kind. I have one sitting in my desk now that's busted.

You have had two 9's? I have had my 7 for just about a year now and it still works flawlessly even though it is being lugged around in my backpack all day during classes.

Have had the RAT 9 in basic black for about 2months now. Can't speak for the earlier versions, but have had zero issues with this current 6400DPI model. Extremely adjustable to fit my large hands. Swapping the battery every day is sort of a pain, but then that depends on your DPI settings, the higher DPI the more power the mouse uses. Comes with two batteries that reach full charge in about 120minutes, so always a fresh one ready to go. Have had about 10 mice, nothing feels as good as the Rat 9. The end finger rest attachment is enough room for two fingers, and allows for zero drag across your mousepad.

that depends how much you actually need to move your mouse. The way I have my mouse setup is i dont even need to move it 2-3mm to have it slide halfway across the screen so having my last fingers resting on the mouse mat is not an issue at all as I hardly need to make any big movements

No one can really use my setup but me :p

Not really a fan of these mice. I think the original was given so much love by Maximum PC and the new one they continue to orgasm over. Someone on here mentioned that with the originals a year or two back. I have tried them, like the heft and I am sure if I customize it, that would make it somewhat better, but just don't like the feel. On the other hand, that white one is sexy.
