SilverStone Readies the Zeus ZM1350 1,350 W Power Supply

Already seen at several trade shows, SilverStone's 1,350 W Zeus Series power supply is now (finally) preparing its retail arrival. Codenamed ZM1350, this unit measures 150 (W) x 86 (H) x 230 (D) mm and features a peak power output of 1,500 W (1,350 W continuous), a fully-modular design, an 80 Plus Silver efficiency rating, Active PFC, six 12V rails (there's also a single rail mode), an 80 mm dual ball bearing fan, and a MTBF of 100,000 hours.

Unfortunately SilverStone hasn't announced a price tag for the Zeus ZM1350.

Wow... 1 80mm fan to cool that thing... I bet it's gonna be loud when the PSU's under full load... :)

All I can think of when I see that box art is Age of Mythology.

Would be fine for Platinum unit. But 80 mm fan to cool a 1.35 kW 80+ Silver PSU? It must be stuffed with heatsinks... Or loud as... thunder. Zeus is god of thunder, right? :D

We'll see about that 1% regulation claim.

I have one on my TPQ 850 and its crap, noisy as hell.
80MM fans are necessarily doomed to die younger and make more noise than 120MM ones.

Platinum units don't get that hot as they're very efficient; that 80mm fan will be noisy at full load only. I can't wait for a review.
EDIT: My bad, it's not platinum but silver.

Needs to dissipate almost 200w of heat if its 85% efficient, the 80mm fan needs to work quite hard to dissipate that.

If you want to get rid of it just LMK I have been shopping around for one. I want to do a dual PSU case mod with it and need matching units.

On a side note it sits next to a pair of 250CFM Delta fans that run at 7v drowning out any noise the PSU makes.

Here are the specs on the fan installed
