Me.ga Shutdown Even Before Debut
Following the mega MegaUpload drama, its head Kim Dotcom decided to start its successor, named Mega (with the URL www.me.ga), registered with the internet TLD .ga for the West African nation Gabon. Following Dotcom's announcement and domain name registration, the URL gained large traffic, but ahead of its debut, the URL has been suspended by people behind the TLD, the Gabon Ministry of Telecommunications. Its minister Blaise Louembe said in a statement, that his country "cannot serve as a platform or screen for committing acts aimed at violating copyrights, nor be used by unscrupulous people." Dotcom's attorney told the press that launch of Mega is on-track, but could feature a different URL.

Do wonder why persist with the "Mega" name. Do something different. Write it backwards if you have to. Agem! There you go! No government in existence is gonna be smart enough to figure that out :D
Why doesn't he register "www.dot.com" ?I mean, he is dot.com isn't he?
Back to the topic, I want to know about Rapidshare. They bribed the feds or something? I mean they are involved in the same business as Megaupload, they too host illegal files only less.
