BitFenix Introduces the Prodigy Window and Alchemy Mixed Cables

With overwhelming response from the community, users have requested greater personalization for their BitFenix cases and accessories. Today, BitFenix is pleased to announce the Prodigy Window Accessory and Alchemy Mixed Cable Series.

Displaying a clear, non-obstructive acrylic, the Prodigy Side Panel Window Accessory is a hassle free option to obtain a clear view of your full sized video card. Without any clips or tacky mounting mechanisms in sight, your Prodigy Black or Prodigy White can maintain its sleek design while having no compromises to the hardware inside.

Alchemy Mixed Cable Series

Custom individual sleeving is a great way to add flare and cleanliness to a computer. But without the right tools, it can be very time consuming and messy. BitFenix Alchemy Cables proved to be a modder's favorite when it comes to shrinkless and flexible cables. Featuring our ultra-dense NanoSleeve braiding in an alternating pattern of colors, Alchemy Mixed Cables make customizing and color coordinating your system an incredibly simple affair.

Both the Prodigy Side Panel Window Accessory and Alchemy Mixed Cables will be available at the middle of February.

Looks like Cables to match the Asus Crosshair boards with the red and black. A little unsure as to whether i like the prodigy with a window or not... all you will see is half a board and a few blank HDD rear ends...

If you have a fairly long video card that requires the removal of the top HDD cage, you will pretty much only see the video card and not the ends of HDD's.

I'm just hoping BitFenix will make orange side window accessories as that would be handy for me :)

i already build a bitfenix prodigy for my girlfriend's rig. now if only they send the windowed side panel separately, it would buy it in a heartbeat. being able to show off the gtx670 + h80 block inside look nice.

I like the idea, and would love to get a window for my brother's Prodigy, but I'm not sure about eliminating the only real source of intake to the video card. The sort-of-mesh side panel is the only thing from preventing the 7970 in there from suffocating. But, when I think about how less than ideal the cable management is in his build, it's probably best it doesn't end up with a window.

Exactly though even seeing the drives too is pretty meh. I want mine on other side so I can see my loop etc which is a lot more worth "the view" than my just my GPU. I found a guy on OCN that can do it for a reasonable price (I don't have the tools or experience).

Uh that was my impression...that these were sold as separate accessories. Though as I said earlier I found a guy who will do it for like $40 plus materials and shipping.

The window kit frozencpu sells for the prodigy looks so much better than this

not really as it leaves the ugly vents in certain areas would be better off getting the Windows Prodigy then just knock that window out put the window kit in lol but that wont work either due to the window kit being to short one direction, would rather use the regular vent design or the window as is above then the window kit, if your gonna do a window kit better off finding someone that can do it and get it custom done so it actually fits right and looks good.

I agree that the vent there doesn't look that great, in my opinion, it's the better of the two options offered. Of course, custom will look better.

It's just the feet and handles that resemble a Mac tower somewhat...a whole lot less sturdy though too as they are not metal.

No way...that FCPU one looks like a hastily bolted-on afterthought ( I do like the bigger size...but this tooo big). I agree that this official one leaves something to be desired too though.

Edit: I just read this thing can be flipped over and used on either side. Outside of the fact the GPU takes up all the view when on the left it also gets less ventilation.

The only bad thing about swapping the sides is that the window is not vertically centre so there will probably be the mobo tray going throught he middle of the window along with all the spare PSU cables on show with only some of the cpu cooler/mobo being on show as well. It's ashame that BitFenix hasn't brought out a window for the other side but I guess a custom cutout wouldn't be too much of a hassle.

Their sleeving is fantastic. I like it a lot better than my NZXT cables.

I hope they decide to sell the windowed panels all by themselves!

They will. Its labeled as an accessory and the BitFenix Rep over @ OCN has been hinting that this thing would be available for the last couple months (as an addon).
