GIGABYTE Rolls Out GeForce GTX 760 WindForce 3X OC Series

GIGABYTE kicked off its GeForce GTX 760 series with a pair of custom-design graphics cards. Both cards are based on an Ultra Durable VGA+ PCB that's repurposed from previous-generation GeForce GTX 680 graphics cards; feature identical factory-overclocked speeds, while differ with the cooling solutions. The GV-N760OC-2GD Rev 1.0 features a blue colored PCB and the WindForce 3X cooler that featured on several of the company's previous generation high-end graphics cards; while the GV-N760OC-2GD Rev 2.0 features a black colored PCB, and the new WindForce 450W cooling solution. Both cards offer out of the box clock speeds of 1085 MHz core, 1150 MHz GPU Boost, and 6.00 GHz memory. Both cards are priced at $250 a pop.

Is there ANY reason to get the rev 1.0 over the 2.0 since both are priced at 250$?

Surely everyone will just buy the Rev 2.0??? The cooler is better, and the PCB is not an ugly gigabyte-blue colour.

It's just about getting lucky now. Stores will list both as the same SKU.

At least here in Finland stores are listing them separately with two distinctive EAN codes.
The rev1.0 has the 680 PCB so I'd get that if you're planning to do WC. :toast:
