ASUS Z87-C First Motherboard WHQL Certified for Windows 8.1
ASUS today announced that its Z87-C is the first motherboard in the world based on the Intel Z87 chipset to receive Windows Hardware Quality Labs (WHQL) certification for Window 8.1. The ASUS Z87-C is a Socket 1150 motherboard for use with 4th generation Intel Core, Pentium and Celeron processors. WHQL certification is a confirmation from Microsoft that both the ASUS Z87-C hardware and drivers are fully reliable and compatible with Windows 8.1. And there's nothing reliable about intel's drivers. Samsung has a whole run of laptops that read at 2 MB/s with intel sata drivers.
