ASUS Announces P1801-T Portable AiO with 18.4-inch Screen

ASUS today announced the P1801-T Portable AiO, a new kind of portable that combines the easy flexibility of an Android tablet with the broader productivity and entertainment options offered by an 18.4-inch multi-touch display with Full HD resolution.

With a sleek, self-contained design, Portable AiO slips easily into the smallest of rooms and a built-in kickstand positions the screen at a comfortable angle for tabletop use. At just 2.4kg, Portable AiO can be carried easily around the home using the integral handle and is light enough to use on the lap when relaxing. The built-in battery removes the need for a nearby mains socket, too, and Portable AiO lasts for up to five hours with 1080p Full HD video playback.
Shared home entertainment made easy
Designed for easy home entertainment for people who don't want the hassle of a traditional PC, the ASUS P1801-T Portable AiO features a vibrant 18.4-inch display with a Full HD resolution that shows games, photos and movies at their very best. The large screen size also gives a much clearer view for productivity apps and web content, and makes it much easier to take advantage of 10-point multi-touch control with games and virtual keyboards of all kinds.

IPS technology gives brilliant images with wide 178-degree viewing angles, transforming the solitary entertainment offered by traditional Android tablets into a shared experience for the whole family. Powerful stereo speakers with sound quality enhanced by ASUS SonicMaster audio technology also mean everyone can enjoy music and immersive movie soundtracks on Portable AiO - no headphones required.

Portable, powerful and practical
The ASUS P1801-T Portable AiO is powered by an NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processor with 12-core GPU for fast and fluid performance with even the most demanding apps, while hardware video decoding ensures silky smooth playback of Full HD video. Android 4.2 Jelly Bean offers a diverse range of content from the online Google Play store too, with over 700,000 apps and games, millions of ebooks and songs, and thousands of movies.

A Micro-USB port means ASUS Portable AiO can also be connected to a desktop keyboard and mouse (a USB adapter is included) for use with more demanding productivity apps like a word processor or spreadsheet. ASUS Portable AiO can also wireless connect to PCs and Macs for media streaming using Android remote desktop software.
