2.5 Kg = 5.5 lbs., which ain't exactly light weight for a 15.6" laptop, IME.

GT740 isn't exactly powerful, but at least they offer 1366x768 to make up for it.

GT 730M performs well enough on 1366x768 so GT 740M should be pretty satisfying(personal experience). ;]

After their GS70 model with dual fans, razor thin, and about 5.5pounds with a 765m I have no idea how they can possibly do better (except release a 15 and 13 inch version probably). I guess premium comes with a premium price tag because those things are worth two of these guys put together.
