I used the configurator and ended up with a mouse, Intel 802.11ac and a t-shirt for $3200!

Um, wow. Is it just me or, is that a lot for a laptop? Alienware has a couple high end Laptops, not as thin, that are as good, or better, for less money. As do some others around the $1500 mark.

It's nice, and all but, I can't see myself throwing that much cash at a laptop.

The real kicker about mobile i7 laptop parts is that almost none of them have 8 threads besides the phenominally prices ones :laugh:
I've seen an i7 that's got 2 cores and 4 threads. Makes no sense!
