Iiyama Unveils the ProLite P2252HS Monitor

Iiyama has today announced the ProLite P2252HS, a 21.5-inch display equipped with a tough, 2 mm-thick glass panel that provides protection against dirt, scratches and even certain shocks. Apart from the stronger (TN) panel, the monitor is pretty standard and features a Full HD (1920 x 1080) native resolution, a 1,000:1 contrast ratio, a 5 ms response time, D-Sub, DVI and HDMI connectors, and dual 1 W speakers.

The ProLite P2252HS is backed by a three-year warranty and 36,800 yen (~ 370 USD).

I did read that correctly right? $370USD for a TN panel with nothing special except a glass panel? I remember seeing an AOC model with a glass panel, except I think it was 23" or something, for just under $200 at a local computer shop a couple of years ago.
