Gateway Debuts Touch Screen Notebooks Starting at Just $329

Gateway today announces its first touch screen notebook models in its popular LT and NV Series of notebook PCs. The two new touchscreen notebook lines -- the Gateway LT41P and Gateway NV570P -- feature HD touch screen displays that are crisp and vibrant, so customers can interact with their notebook in ways that are intuitive, convenient and enjoyable.

The new notebook lines allow customers to do more on the go for school, work and fun, and are available in prices that will fit into any budget. They are especially well-suited for small business users who may want to purchase a new PC by the end of the tax year, students who need it for school, or for families who need a way to stay in-touch and informed.

The new Gateway LT41P is sleek, slim and boasts a stunning 10.1-inch HD LCD touch display that enables customers to get more from their PC. The display highlights crisp and clear images with a 1366 x 768 resolution supported by Intel HD graphics. The HD audio via two stereo speakers further complements video, websites and casual games.

The system delivers everything needed in a thin and mobile package that measures just over one inch and weighs only 2.83 pounds. Gateway NV570P Series Pairs Large 15.6-inch Displays with Intel Core processors
New Gateway NV570P notebooks feature the powerful combination of a large 15.6-inch HD widescreen LED-backlit touch screen display and powerful 3rd generation Intel Core processors. Customers will appreciate that the NV570P's large display provides ample room for vibrant and realistic images for spreadsheets, apps and streamed video. The Intel Core processors provide a fast and fluid working environment for handling more advanced multitasking. The systems come with up to 8 GB of DDR3 SDRAM as well as Intel HD Graphics 4000 with 128 MB of dedicated system memory, so video and multitasking can be handled with ease. The system also provides HD audio support and dual stereo speakers.

The Gateway NV570P notebook line ensures users will always have ample room for their media and files thanks to large hard drives with up to 750 GB of capacity. MSRP for the Gateway NV570P Series with a 15.6-inch display starts at only $449.99. Both new lines come with a one year limited parts and labor warranty.
