If this is manufactured by Seasonic it could be a good PSU but who really needs 1300w even for gaming? And who would need to use two of these in tandem?

1,300 watts for gaming isn't needed these days? I didn't even know...I currently have a 1,000 watt PSU that I've had for four years...is that still good for today's standards?

The other HCPs are Delta I believe. Seasonic is not the only good PSU maker around. 1300W is a bit overkill, but if you want headroom and is using quad SLI or something.

1000w is A LOT. 90% of the gamers could do with 450W honestly.

And if your unit is good or not depends entirely on what it is. If you bought it on ebay for €25 it was never good. If it's a Corsair or the old Antec HCP then it's probably still quite good.

I think....how can you tell when a PSU is going out, lol? Granted I've never had any problems whatsoever, but....I think I might've just jinxed myself! So, give me tips!

These are what being sucked up for Litecoin mining rigs. While the price of the GPU cards have jumped up so the PSU's that run 4-5 card has skyrocked also. Quality units much over 1200W and you looking a $250-380 here in the States.

This is made by Delta Electronics, as are all the High Current Pro models. Both performance and quality of these are absolutely top-notch, you just don't get any better than this, at least with the "traditional", analog-signaling PSUs. Absolute tech porn.

Seasonic are not the best PSUs. They are behind Delta (as this one), Superflower and Flextronics

There is quad GPU gaming setups also mining. Because of mining there is lackness of high wattage PSUs in the market
