Deepcool Releases Quanta DQ-1250W Semi-modular PSU

After launching several power supply models from 400W to 750W, Deepcool made their presence in this industry very well. And today, they reveal one more enthusiast power supplies for the gamers, miners and enthusiasts: Deepcool Quanta DQ1250. DQ1250 is a solid-built power supply with 1250W continuous power and its energy efficiency meets the world's most strict 80Plus Platinum certificate. The power supply features two 12V rails delivering 45A and 65A each output at peak consumption. This power supply uses top quality standard Japanese capacitors inside to keep the power supply stability.

Silence is another unique feature for this power: a separate circuit design keeps the fan keeps at zero rpm and won't start spinning when the power supply is under 30% load or the ambient temperature is below 25 degrees. The intelligent fan technology enables the fan keep the balance between cooling performance and noise level during different load level. Fan delay cool technology makes 140 mm fan to work 15~30 seconds continually after power-off so to ensure all parts to cool down completely for a long lifespan.
With flat ribbon cable design, it is quite easy to put the wires on the back of motherboard tray to get a great airflow in the case. This power supply is semi-modular design with only the mainboard and two ATX 12V CPU cable (700mm) fixed onto the power supply. All other cables are modular and packed in the box. There are 8 PCI-E (6+2Pin) connectors, 16 SATA connectors, 10 Peripheral (Big 4Pin) connectors and 3 pieces of extensional connectors: 2 for PCI-E and 1 for small 4Pin.

As for regulatory, DQ1250 has CE, FCC, CCC, CB, EAC and TUV. And as for protection, this power supply has over voltage protection (OVP), short circuit protection (SCP) and over power protection (OPP).

These are just rebranded PSUs. Unless they receive a good review at JonnyGuru or Hardware Secrets and are priced competitive with a Seasonic PSU, I'd skip it.
