AOC Unveils Its Own 28-inch UHD Monitor

AOC today announced the u2868Pqu, a 28-inch monitor with a native resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels. Pictured below, this new, UHD display is equipped with a TN panel and features a WLED backlight, a 1 ms (GTG) response time, a 1,000:1 contrast ratio, 300 cd/m2 brightness, D-Sub, DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort inputs, and dual 3 W built-in speakers.

AOC's monitor also has a four-port USB hub (with two USB 2.0 and two USB 3.0 ports), and a stand enabling tilt, pivot and height adjustment. The u2868Pqu is backed by a three-year warranty and is set to become available starting next month. The display is said to cost £499/649 Euro but pre-orders have it as low as 489 Euro.

Like the USB port hub, odd though that it has DVI as most only contain the basics of dual HDMI and a Display port and I feel that would not get much use. Nice monitor though I think I still prefer the Asus one over all.
