I-O Data Unveils New Portable Hard Drive

I-O Data today announced its newest storage solution, the HDPX-UTA Series portable hard drive. Coming in two color versions - silver and black, I-O Data's drive measures 114 x 76 x 12 mm, it weighs 170 grams, has an aluminum casing, and offers USB 3.0 connectivity and support for Apple's Time Machine.

The HDPX-UTA Series will debut at the end of this month, bringing 500 GB, 1 TB and 2 TB units priced at 10,600 yen (~ 104 USD), 14,300 yen (~ 140 USD) and 21,500 yen (~ 210 USD), respectively.
