Xilence Presents New Entry-level Power Supply Series
Xilence, specialist in cooling, power supply and noise reduction in PCs and notebooks, presents the Performance A power supply series - which is the first new product line after the takeover by Listan. The new power supply series of Xilence is positioned in the entry-level segment but shines with efficiency, a complete security package and quality components. The new power supply series is aimed both to resellers, as well as at price-performance conscious end users.
The generously sized 12-volt line of the Performance A power supplies provide maximum power stability even in tough gaming situations. The quiet 120 millimeter fan features an improved airflow design that ensures excellent heat dissipation. All PSUs of the series are certified to the new 80PLUS standard, thus fulfilling the ErP2014 standard. To meet this standards the minimum energy efficiency of 82 percent under a 20 percent load must be achieved, at least 85 percent under 50 percent load and again 82 percent under 100 percent load.Six integrated safety circuits always ensure a safe operation. All Performance A models feature OVP (Over Voltage Protection), UVP (Under Voltage Protection), OCP (Over Current Protection), OTP (Over Temperature Protection), SCP (Short Circuit Protection) and OLP (Overload protection).
Available in four classes
The Performance A series is available in four classes (430 Watts / 530 Watts / 630 Watts / 730 Watts). The 430 Watt version is available for 33,90 Euro (MSRP). For the 530 Watt version, the retail price is 37,90 Euro and for the 630 Watt model 45,90 Euro. The 730 Watt top model has an MSRP of 52,90 Euro.
Background information: Since Xilence and be quiet! products share the same product categories, target markets and products will be strictly separated. While be quiet! continues to address the premium market, Xilence products emphasize attractive prices and to cater for the volume market.
Through its acquisition by Listan, Xilence will obviously profit from synergy effects. Due to the long experience of be quiet! in planning and constructing power supplies and coolers, the team has excellent supplier contacts, which Xilence will benefit from in addition to its own. The established be quiet! quality control processes (for example incoming and outgoing quality control) will be adapted as well. By merging the logistics costs are also reduced and passed on as price advantage to customers.
