Jonsbo-Cooltek Announces the RM1 Chassis

With the RM1 we present a particular compact Mini Tower, which offers an unusual flexibility for the installation of hardware. Despite the minimalistic design, the RM1 offers enough space for ATX systems with dual VGA card support. If needed, a 5.25 inch drive can be installed, when using either a Mini-ITX or Micro-ATX motherboard. The RM1 uses brushed aluminum and shines with its superb quality. By using materials of the highest quality the RM1 offers a superb and exquisite look. The deliberately kept simple design of the RM1 harmonizes perfectly with any environment.

Motherboards of up to 305 x 245 mm can be installed in the RM1. This allows not only the installation of Mini-ITX or Micro-ATX systems in the compact case, but also of full size ATX boards. Despite its compact dimensions, the RM1 offers enough space for a powerful system. Thus, VGA cards of up to 290 mm in length and CPU-coolers with a maximum height of 95 mm can be installed in the elegant aluminium case.
Up to four hard disk drives can be mounted in the RM1. At the bottom, a 2.5 inch and a 3.5 inch drive can easily be installed, using decoupled rubber grommets to reduce vibrations. Up to two 2.5 inch SSD can be mounted on the ODD holder. If an optical drive is installed, one of these installation slots cannot be used.

Two color options (black and silver) will be available in stores from early next week, the MSRP for the case is 79.99 Euro, incl. 19% VAT. The case is sold in Europe under the label "Jonsbo - powered by Cooltek".

You know I actually like these bland cases...LOL
However, I would prefer a shiny bland case.

looks nice but it has limited airflow, so putting high end hardware will change it into a brand new oven

Get an external radiator and that case (or any other small case fro that matter) can take about as much hardware as you can possibly cram into it

There ain't no micro holes at the sides and in front, a recipe for over-heating disaster!

+1. The case looks nice, but it has poor airflow.

Stupid, stupid, stupid.
The only thing that moves air through this case is the PSU, and it fights the CPU cooler for the same air.
There's no inlet or outlet fan or even a place to put one.
There's no "chimney" effect design.
They show a dual GPU setup. Where's the heat going to go, especially for the top card??????
Might work if EE type of GPU(s) are used, but using the GPU(s) to cool the system just isn't advised.
Design failure.

Can be used to bake your video card to fix loose solder joints (don't forget to remove all plastic parts) - just run it in this case for 30 minutes or until your smoke alarm goes off...

No airflow and it looks like a bland aluminum box with zero design effort.

The front 120mm fan should be ducted to the base, as an intake, to be effective, as should the CPU cooler, like in SFF Dell or H.P.
Or fit an A.I.O. with 120mm radiator on the base for the CPU.
Stock blower type GPU's would work best in this case to expel air.

Well, I don't need extremely well vented case, since I am not pushing my system that far.
I like this case, just as much as I like their C3 case, and what bummes me out is that I cannot find it sold in the US. If I cannot get this one here either, then really, their marketing sucks.
