AOC Intros Q2577PWQ 25-inch WQHD Monitor
AOC rolled out the Q2577PWQ, a 25-inch monitor offering WQHD (2560 x 1440 pixels) native resolution. The monitor features an IPS LCD panel with LED illumination, which uses a non-PWM method for adjusting brightness (and is hence flicker-free). Other key specs include 5 ms response time, 178°/178° viewing angles, 350 cd/m² maximum brightness, and dynamic mega-contrast ratio. Display inputs include DisplayPort, HDMI, DVI, and D-Sub. In-built 2W stereo speakers, a 4-port USB hub, with two USB 3.0 downstream ports (one of which is a high-current port) and two USB 2.0 ports; and a maximum power consumption figure of 55W, round off the package. Its stand allows for height, tilt, and 90° rotation to portrait mode. AOC didn't announce price, although availability is slated for August 2015.

I haven't seen any AMVA+ panel above 1080p also... maybe... someday....
i got a BenQ GW2265HM for $135ca+tax & am quite happy for the price+image quality (that 22" is not for me, but my FP241VW is getting real old now with strange burnin & bad gamma, it's almost time for me to find something new for myself)
