AMD Releases Catalyst 15.10 Beta Drivers

AMD released Catalyst 15.10 Beta drivers. These drivers address issues with Star Wars: Battlefront Beta, and comes with quality and performance optimization for Ashes of the Singularity in DirectX 12 mode. It also addresses a rare crash that occurs when maximizing a minimized web-browser window with a YouTube 4K video playback in it. Issues with Cyberlink PowerDVD playback on 3D displays connected via HDMI are also addressed.

If you aren't having any issues with your current drivers then I don't see why anyone should update to this version. I'm using 15.9 beta and have had zero problems.

If you happen to be playing Star Wars: Battlefront beta, then you may need these. Otherwise, you most likely don't.

If you don't have problems you don't necasserily need newer drivers. And thats for any hardware.

AMD is coming out lately with frequent beta drivers. Maybe they avoid paying MS for the WHQL seal. I think AMD's beta drivers should be considered as stable as WHQL. They only had to come with a quick fix on their 15.9 drivers and they posted the newer and fixed 15.9.1 in less than 24 hours.

Cool another driver, we have been getting a lot lately mostly with quick fixes and such. Though I didn't have any issues with the Battlefront Beta so I am curious what is getting fixed.

Eh, I might give it a download when I get the time tonight and see what it adds.

It's the same engine, so fixes for the beta should apply to the final build.

yes, the article is not amd (or rather, always read the actual release notes, but there is probably a continuing internal game beta anyway)
