i wouldn't get one... it clashes with my black/silver home theater setup.. though overall.. i don't really like that green, the orange is cool, but the green not so much.

Why didn't they bother to wait a bit longer and bundle the game with the console?! It seems daft to have a halo themed console but not the game to go with it.

Also to me the green looks awful.

My sediments exactly. Kinda dumb to release a Halo 3 themed X-box without the game...

Well they can't exactly make money off of Halo 3 if they bundle in the game for free with the console after all.

Plus your not just getting a paint job your also getting a free Plug and play charger included with the system which is like I think last I checked a $20 plus as an accessory when you would buy it seperately under normal circumstances.

Plus you get exclusive Halo 3 pics and themes only when you buy this console thats another plus albeit probably a lesser one.

Finally its not just the console thats painted its also the wireless controller, headset, and harddrive that are also painted

the reason they didn't bundle halo 3 with it was cause this isn't like the elite where it's just another sku this is actually a special edition item (as in could be for collectors) and that plus the free themes and plug and charge kit makes it cost 50 dollars more than the original one

if i didn't have my elite i'd get it just cause of the attention to detail.:toast:

should have bundled Halo 3 with it and up the priced 30 bucks. Im surprised to see an HDMI port offered with it myself. Kind of screws with early adopters, such as myself. Im personally not a fan of one of the ugliest color schemes ever offered on a gaming system.

Price wise, eh, its good, about the same as the premium only this one is ugly colored and gives you an hdmi port (drool)

the new premiums also come with HDMI now i was upset too but remembered i had decided to buy the extended warranty on my 360 and took ti back for full price (400 is what i payed before the price drop) and was like sweet and bought an xbox elite so i got the hdmi version xbox all black (way better than white) and a hdmi cable (comes with the console not like ps3) for 50 bucks ;)

Knows what makes you tick
It does have the new heatsink and 65nm CPU's in it according to a guy at an xbox 360 forum that I go to. Visually confirmed, so that it something going for it.
