Team Italy Acheives Epic 3DMark Scores; 30662 Points in 3DMark06
Oh snap, another world record in the intense world of benchmarking. MemoryExtreme Team ITALY recently nabbed the 3DMark crown in both 3DMark05 and 3DMark06. System specs and screenshots are below. Enjoy.

When Quadfire with the 3870x2's is availabe, I'm sure they'll beat that (although not sure they'll get the cores/mem that high on the x2's).
Seriously though, that is a nice score. Impressive. 80 liters? That's a whole lot of liquid nitrogen.

Ya...won't be long it seems till every LN2 tester is going to be reaching that point.
Shame about the sub-standard GPU power in these tests. It's obvious the CPUs are making the difference. It's going to be wild when someone runs the new (real new, not GX2) Nvidia cards in Tri-Sli with a Nehalem chip.

Having said that, there is still a terrific amount of work and preparation that goes into this stuff but what would impress me even more is if a private user acheived these kind of scores on their own kit purchased by themselves, but fair play to Team Italy.
