With all these beta drivers released... I finally went to nvidia.com to see if I should get the latest non-beta driver. Being as I haden't updated the drivers in a few months, I figured there would be an update... But there isn't.

Anyways.... how stable are these beta drivers normally? And why should I get them? Or should I not get them? They probably haven't made any changes to the 7950gt drivers, right? So I should just keep mine? I have no problems anyways.

Usually they are stable. I just loaded them and so far they are good, but I haven't tested them on any games yet. The Crysis 1.2 patch however is giving me trouble.

This has been out for a while, no? I'm on beta 171.20.

I think that the 171.20 beta drivers were to support the 9xxx series while this release adds features for the 6,7, and 8 series.
