NVIDIA Quadro Drivers Version 182.08 WHQL Released

NVIDIA has released new drivers for its professional Quadro series of video cards. The latest NVIDIA Quadro release 182.08 supports all cards from the Quadro FX, Quadro CX and Quadro NVS series. Release highlights:
  • WHQL Certified driver.
  • Improved performance on workstation applications.
  • Added support for DDC-Ci/MCCS over the DisplayPort AUX channel.
  • Added 10-bits per color (10bpc) DisplayPort support for full-screen applications on supported products.
  • Integrated AutoCAD and 3ds Max Performance Drivers in the graphics driver with auto-detection, providing increased performance. Support for three latest versions of AutoCAD and 3ds Max. Standalone versions or version updates can still be downloaded from the NVIDIA driver download page.
  • Workstation application compatibility fixes. Please read the release notes for more information on product support, feature limitations, driver fixes and known compatibility issues.

You can get a modded inf at guru3d in nvidia forums for all cards.And I heard they give performance increase.

guys ... can you give me a link that proving the performance gain using Quadro card instead of normal vga card ....
sorry for the stupid question ... im planning buying one of those quadro thingy ...

Quadros arent for gaming.Only for 3d apps like 3dsmax and such.But you can use the drivers tho with a modded inf like I am and they work great.:)

Plus even the cheapest quadro card will cost you $350 and up.

im not into gaming ... im using CAD software ... and just wondering how fast they are comparing to native VGA when rendering ...

SeanGWell I guess if you do cad only this is the card you need.If you need a card with 4 gig of memory that is.:)

holymoly ... thats friggin expensive ... :twitch:

im deciding FX1500 ... thats should fit my wallet ... pair it with core i7 920 and 6Gb Corsair 3 Channel memory ....

I found Quadro drivers more stable than GeForce ones :)

SeanGPlus even the cheapest quadro card will cost you $350 and up.
The pos cards I have at work are like €100, the FX370.

I seen a mod somewhere,either here or at guru3d that you can use rivatuner to use quadro driver to change your regular gaming card and make it a quadro.For instance turn a 9800gt into this card.www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814133218

Let me see if i can find it cause they said it works,cause this 3700 is basicly a 9800gt with quadro bios.
