Zalman Shows off Core i5-ready CNPS10X Extreme CPU Cooler
Zalman, the pioneer in ultra-quiet computer cooling, is gearing up to release the multi-fit Zalman CNPS10X Extreme processor cooler. Oddly enough, the CNPS10X shares no similarity with any of the previous Zalman products. It measures 135 x 100 x 160 mm, weights 920 grams and features a copper base and five 6 mm heatpipes. The heatsink of CNPS10X is nickle-plated and chilled from a dual ball-bearing 120 mm PWM controlled blue LED fan working at speeds between 1000 and 2500 rpm (noise level between 20 dBa and 39 dBA). The CNPS10X Extreme supports AMD's Sockets 754, 939, 940, AM2, AM2+, AM3 and Intel's LGA 775, 1366, and 1156. Bundled with the cooler is a tube of ZM-STG2 thermal grease and Zalman's PWM Mate - a nifty controller for the fan's rotation speed.

May it herald a return to form for Zalman.
that said, the fan controller looks nice. i always liked the fan mates that came with the 7000 coolers.
Edit: you can also just make out the writing "High performance super thermal grease" oh lol, what a name.
And the remote looks awesome. Almost as if it were some kind of taser...
