The AMD E2-1800 is a desktop processor with 2 cores, launched in June 2012. It is part of the E2 lineup, using the Zacate 2 architecture with Socket FT1. E2-1800 has 512 KB of L2 cache per core and operates at 1700 MHz. AMD is making the E2-1800 on a 40 nm production node, the transistor count is unknown. The multiplier is locked on E2-1800, which limits its overclocking potential.
With a TDP of 18 W, the E2-1800 consumes very little energy. AMD's processor supports DDR3 memory with a single-channel interface. This processor features the Radeon HD 7340 integrated graphics solution.
Hardware virtualization is available on the E2-1800, which greatly improves virtual machine performance.
