The AMD Sempron 3100+ was a mobile processor with 1 core, launched in July 2005. It is part of the Mobile Sempron lineup, using the Albany architecture with Socket 754. Sempron 3100+ has 256 KB of L2 cache and operates at 1800 MHz. AMD is making the Sempron 3100+ on a 90 nm production node using 69 million transistors. The multiplier is locked on Sempron 3100+, which limits its overclocking potential. With a TDP of 62 W, the Sempron 3100+ consumes typical power levels for a modern PC. The SSE4 instruction set is not supported, which can cause problems with modern games, as they require that capability.
