The AMD Sempron 2600+ was a mobile processor with 1 core, launched in July 2004. It is part of the Mobile Sempron lineup, using the Georgetown architecture with Socket 754. Sempron 2600+ has 128 KB of L2 cache and operates at 1600 MHz. AMD is making the Sempron 2600+ on a 90 nm production node using 63 million transistors. The multiplier is locked on Sempron 2600+, which limits its overclocking potential. With a TDP of 62 W, the Sempron 2600+ consumes typical power levels for a modern PC. The SSE4 instruction set is not supported, which can cause problems with modern games, as they require that capability.
