The AMD Turion X2 RM-70 was a mobile processor with 2 cores, launched in June 2006. It is part of the Turion X2 lineup, using the Griffin architecture with Socket S1. Turion X2 RM-70 has 1 MB of L2 cache and operates at 2000 MHz. AMD is building the Turion X2 RM-70 on a 65 nm production process, the transistor count is unknown. The multiplier is locked on Turion X2 RM-70, which limits its overclocking capabilities. With a TDP of 31 W, the Turion X2 RM-70 consumes only little energy. The SSE4 instruction set is not supported, which can cause problems with modern games, as they require that capability. Hardware virtualization is available on the Turion X2 RM-70, which greatly improves virtual machine performance.
