The AMD Sempron 2800+ was a mobile processor with 1 core, launched in January 2001. It is part of the Mobile Sempron lineup, using the Paris architecture with Socket 754. Sempron 2800+ has 256 KB of L2 cache and operates at 1600 MHz. AMD is building the Sempron 2800+ on a 130 nm production process using 69 million transistors. The multiplier is locked on Sempron 2800+, which limits its overclocking capabilities. With a TDP of 25 W, the Sempron 2800+ consumes only little energy. Neither SSE3 nor SSE4 instruction sets are supported, which will lead to problems with games not starting.
