One of my keyboard legs snapped off on one side. Looked for some new ones online but was all too hard.

Decided to get out the old Ghetto Mod : )

Basically, I got another piece of plastic and wedged it in between where the gap was in the leg (where it would keep snapping when inserted in the keyboard) and fully bodged it with super glue to fill the gap and make it solid so it couldnt push in.

Works perfect again :)

Original. Tried to just glue the stem. Didn't work. Just kept on snapping.

Ugh, I had the same problem with my old Logitech g19. I ended up replacing the legs with rubber standoffs cut to height. I couldn't get the original to stop snapping back off again!

I wanted to solve the control of my radiator fans, i just want a fixed speed but not full speed. So i bought a 10 port fan hub (very cheap ~2 usd used), but that was a pwm type and my fans are 3 pin dc type, motherboard cant control it. (wasted money)
So the only way to control them by reducing the voltage (or buy an expensive dc hub).
Still there are ways to control the fans: I can connect them to the 5v directly and switch to 12v if needed (mostly never needed because the cooling is way overbuilt.) But 12v loud.
I dont want to use the 7v (12v-5v lines) that is not ATX standard.
So i bought a DC-DC step down circuit with voltage display. (~4 usd) With that i can select the fans voltage in very precise steps. So in the colder seasons i set the fans to 6v, in summer i can set it to higher. 3A max so the parts are not even warm with the 9x 0.16A Fans.
I hacked a molex to sata cable for the dc-dc and to power the 10 port hub.
Extra feature is to display the psu 12v rail voltage, not just the dc-dc out voltage. So i can monitor the 12v rail if needed.

Well done!

Splitty9 allows for both 3 and 4pin if you decide you want to go the easy route with another rig.

Thanks.
That Splitty9 is not a powered hub. I don't want to power all 9 fans from one single motherboard fan header.
And i also want to connect the case fans and the ram fans to this hub. So it will be 1.5-2A current.

You mean the mb header provides the dc/pwm signal and the sata/molex connection provides power, but I get you.

You're wrong. Splitty 9 also is active. It also levels up the PWM Signals. :O

Just going through some old threads, PC ATM fro 2008. The poster has not been seen sense 2012. He used Image shack so the pictures are still there.
Sure would be cool if the TPU pictures didn't get accidentally wiped. We've come along way lol

This is from 2020: loop made from choked B6 Passat radiator and aquarium pump (50/50 coolant water mix) later added EK Vardar fans it was running cool... as aspected i was not getting OC improves.

Don't ask about PSU :fear:

This one from 2021: That northbridge cooler was actually save the build and OC (for that years) and i was use only 3 stick of RAM, its kinda suck at OC while all dimms are populated.

You gonna make that push/pull eventually!!? o_O It's only 18 fans just a early AI overclocked prototype.

Cool setup. But i have to be the curious one.
So about that psu?
its Dell H875EF-00... 24 pin cable was too short, i buy some extender cable but its caused system reset when i stress system so with that way its closer to the 24 pin on the MB :D

That looks like an oil cooler?
sadly no, its 50/50 car coolant and water mix.

He meant the radiator with fan zip- tied to it.

Your implementation is spot on. Especially the way it was mocked up being perfect for this thread.
