Fastest memory for Sandy Bridge? (2500K)

Yeah, I guess that could be the case (with only 1300 being a bottleneck). I have Fallout on my SSD, yeap. I tried tweaking things on the 1600Mhz ram beforehand, but I couldn't really get the system stable. I tried a lot of combinations of increasing clocks, decreasing timings, increasing...

Fastest memory for Sandy Bridge? (2500K)

I dunno, according to that benchmark I linked in the original post, they had some large differences (going from 1333-2400 at least). I figured it was worth a shot, but guess I will be returning it.

Fastest memory for Sandy Bridge? (2500K)

Sorry for late reply, for some reason I didn't get any thread notifications, even though I have it watched, and notifications are turned on. Checked spam folder as well, nothing... So, I ended up getting some 2400MHz RAM and it seemed to run fine at 2133MHz. However, I didn't see any big...

Fastest memory for Sandy Bridge? (2500K)

Ever since I originally bought my 2500K, I've run it with 1600Mhz memory, specifically these. Recently I've started playing Fallout 4, and I've noticed in a lot of areas I get frame rate drops down to 40's, regardless of what settings I use (even on low I get the drops). The interesting thing...

    Current Sales, Bundles, Giveaways

When possible, I update the twitter feed for promo codes. I've thought about something like having promo codes for certain stores show up in the 'info popup' you get when you click the (i) icon next to games. I guess the issue with this is, it requires me to always keep it up-to-date...

    Current Sales, Bundles, Giveaways

If you're interested in PC digital download sales/deals, check out the site I've been working on: http://www.cheapshark.com/ Basically it automatically indexes deals from Steam, Amazon, Gamer's Gate, GreenManGaming (and others). It also automatically rates them based on percent off...

A site for comparing prices of digital downloads

Earlier this year, I started working on a site to index the deals from major digital distributors (Steam, Amazon, Gamer's Gate, GreenManGaming, etc.) After a lot of time and effort, this is the site today: http://www.cheapshark.com/ So, if you're interested in finding the cheapest place to...

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680 Kepler 2 GB

Wasn't sure if this had been brought up yet, but it says FXAA has been added as an option in the control panel? Does this mean it can now be forced in all DX9/10/11 games? I know before they had an option in Nvidia's control panel, but it was only for OpenGL.

    HD 7950 Issues...

Yes. I did swap the 6950 out for this card (mostly because I found a buyer for it before getting the 7950). So, the specs are as listed. Update: So, I have now tried about 5 different drivers.... still no luck. I have also tried swapping out the HDMI for DVI, with no luck. Sometimes on boot...

    HD 7950 Issues...

So I just got my HD 7950 installed, and instantly having issues. The card is installed correctly, and I'm assuming it is getting plenty of power. The issue seems to be all software related. With no AMD drivers installed, everything works fine. As soon as I install drivers, whether they be...

2500K Stuck at 1.6Ghz - Idle and Under Load

I figured it out, mentioned the solution in post above. Thank you anyhow.

2500K Stuck at 1.6Ghz - Idle and Under Load

I have the latest BIOS. I actually just 'fixed' the issue. :toast: Now, mind you, I had already shut down (not rebooted, but actually shut down), with no luck. On a hunch, I figured I would also try shutting down again, but also unplugging and waiting 15 seconds then plugging back in. Somehow...
