    What would you buy?

Of these options, the 9060XT is the best choice, 16GB and performance almost equal to 5060ti 16GB. I expect a 9050XT to be released at a similar price point to the 5050, possibly offering around 10% more performance. Things are moving pretty slowly below $500. :p

    ASUS ROG Crosshair X870E Extreme

Why don't you have the "stupidly expensive" stick yet? There's nothing on this motherboard to justify the $1k price tag, you can't even say it's "bragging rights" because it sounds more like "I spent twice as much on something and got nothing in return, look at me" which isn't very clever.

Which CPU to Choose for a 7900 XT? Ryzen 7 7700 or Ryzen 5 9600X?

The 7700 will offer some advantages in compiling shaders and installing games. Critics here might disagree, but UE5 "the industry's dominant engine" is increasingly optimizing for multithreading, and that's the path forward. Future consoles are likely to feature 12-core CPUs, and with Zen 6...

Some Intel Nova Lake CPUs Rumored to Challenge AMD's 3D V-Cache in Desktop Gaming

Intel’s architecture doesn’t take advantage of additional cache as effectively as AMD’s does. It will only make the CPU more expensive.

Nintendo Switch 2 Slammed for Poor Display—120 Hz With 30 FPS Response Times

That barely keeps 30fps stable anyway. Then, It's not a real problem.

Samsung Releases Smart Monitor M9 With AI-Powered QD-OLED Display

Oh, and how much will this cost? Let me check... since the article conveniently leaves out the most important detail... $1,599!? Samsung, really?

    SCHENKER KEY 18 Pro (E25)

You’re basically carrying a desktop in your backpack, fans roaring like a jet on takeoff. XD 56dBA is intolerable for most people. That's why laptop hardware should stay below 120w TDP. I hope the future of gaming laptops will be APUs even more massive than Strix Halo: adjustable TDP, tons of...

Unreal Engine 5.6 Delivers Up to 35% Performance Improvement Over v5.4

Does a 50% performance delta(60-90fps) in an empty city with no game logic running impress anyone? To me, it’s at best a questionable benchmark. The performance gain likely came more from optimizations in RT. True optimization depends on the devs and those working with UE5 usually lack the time...

    9060xt 16gb vs 5060ti 16gb

We're asking about your MOBO/Motherboard, I don't understand what the 6600 has to do with it. That sounds Italian, the forum rule says to use English. Just a heads up.

Less FPS after upgrading from nvidia 1660s to amd 6700 (not xt,10 gb vram)

You didn’t mention, what’s your PSU? Also, have you tried cleaning the PCIe connector and reseating the GPU?

    9060xt 16gb vs 5060ti 16gb

There is a significant performance loss in some games. If the OP is using an older platform, it's best to avoid the 5060 Ti.

    9060xt 16gb vs 5060ti 16gb

Both have very close performance, depending on the selection of games one can excel or not, AMD runs much better games like COD and Nvidia in Stalker for example, but I would say to buy the cheaper one. I have my doubts about how the two will perform on an AM4 PCie 4.0 platform and which will...

AMD Readies Ryzen 5 9600X3D to Spice Up the Mid-range

https://www.techpowerup.com/cpu-specs/ryzen-3-8300g.c3459 They release Ryzen 3 APUs to close this gap, but I think it's limited to OEMs and MSRP looks pretty bad. What fills this low-end space is AM4 tbh.

AMD Readies Ryzen 5 9600X3D to Spice Up the Mid-range

They're selling well, much more than X3D. Don't let DYI fool you, the bulk of CPU sales are with OEMs. The reason for launching a X3D hexa-core (in limited quantities) is that obviously the stacking process generates its share of defective dies. AMD is putting an end to something that was...

NVIDIA's NVLink Fusion Stays Proprietary, Third Parties Can Only Work Around It

Nvidia is unlikely to let go of the bone. They will abandon the gamer market, lie, corrupt, anything to hold the AI market in its grip. "When it comes to benchmarking, we like how AMD demonstrates clearly when their solutions are working well by presenting easy to follow reproducible...
