MSI Releases MPG 271QRX and MPG 321URX QD-OLED Firmware Update, Gives DSC Control

That's why you should be able to update the firmware on all models? The HDMI console mode being default is annoying, you'll be playing at 4k on your 1440p monitor without it asking you. Glad they are fixing that. Can they stick the firmware version on the front of the box for the MAG model??? :p

Qualcomm Continues to Disrupt the PC Industry with the Addition of Snapdragon X Plus Platform

There's no disruption until they release a good product, something they haven't done yet lmao.

Horizon Forbidden West: DLSS vs. FSR vs. XeSS Comparison

Load up Mass Effect Legendary Edition (or any old game) and move your mouse around and compare to Horizon it should be night and day in clarity.

PowerColor Radeon RX 7900 GRE Hellhound

The Hellhound just dropped in price massively in Canada and now is almost the same price as the Gigabyte one.

    Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 EVO

You forgot the $10 base Arctic cooler. That is the cheapest cooler you can buy for AM5 ;) Some of use just set a TDP limit and move on! Seriously though in Canada I don't think there is any point in buying anything except for Thermalright from Amazon.

Horizon Forbidden West: DLSS vs. FSR vs. XeSS Comparison

I think you missed where I said the implemented frame gen hasn't been good (DLSS3). I use the driver level frame gen that works with all modern games (AMD) on games that are already very high frame rate purely to get my monitor's pixel response times down. Not for image quality the way NVidia...

Horizon Forbidden West: DLSS vs. FSR vs. XeSS Comparison

Well I just played Horizon Forbidden West and the ghosting from DLAA is as clear as day to me, especially in front of certain objects (water... or a crack in the wall). Then I play Mass Effect again and I'm so happy. Xbox 360 graphics forever! Well DLAA looks very good when you are not moving...

PowerColor Radeon RX 7900 GRE Hellhound

also ridiculously well made compared to the Gigabyte one

Horizon Forbidden West: DLSS vs. FSR vs. XeSS Comparison

You don't notice the loss of quality when you use DLAA because you are playing newer games. Try games from the Xbox 360 generation at 4k and high refresh rates and they look INCREDIBLY clear.

Horizon Forbidden West: DLSS vs. FSR vs. XeSS Comparison

no anti-aliasing club represent i play Mass Effect Legendary Edition with no AA on my 4k OLED, and holy crap it looks amazing modern games don't look that good, TAA is one of the reasons

PowerColor Radeon RX 7900 GRE Hellhound

It's fair to point out that the GRE uses more power for video playback than the 4070 Super. Also fair to point out that it is still very low and not a problem unless in a laptop. Here's another way to look at it. The 3090 Ti launched for $2000 2 years earlier. 2 years later we get the same...

Horizon Forbidden West: DLSS vs. FSR vs. XeSS Comparison

I can't stand frame generation. You turn it on, your "frame rate" goes up 30 percent. So actually it is upscaling from 1.3/2=0.65 a 35 percent lower FPS. It is worse than leaving it off. If it actually doubled the framerate that would be ok, but it does not. Not at all. And doubling with quality...

PowerColor Radeon RX 7900 GRE Hellhound

Is this a troll post? This is not a laptop. Many RTX cards idle at 20W, what is 37W while watching youtube lmao. "insane" I don't even know how to respond to that nonsense. People used to use a 100W lightbulb and think nothing of it, now if your video card uses 10W more than the other guy's...

PowerColor Radeon RX 7900 GRE Hellhound

I wouldn't worry about 40W. I have a laptop without a discrete card. It uses almost 40W to play a 4k youtube video using the iGPU. If your desktop PC uses 100W all the time (at the wall), even a 20W reduction from the GPU would still be 80W total for example. Yeah less power is nice but I...

PowerColor Radeon RX 7900 GRE Hellhound

The 7900 XT is only cheap in the US. The GRE is a good price in many countries. It's easy to find for $550 USD outside of the US. Frankly this Hellhound card is incredible. Too bad this specific model is currently $100 more in my country than the normal GRE cards. High demand. Selling really...
