i have q6600 non oc'd decent board and ddr2 800 4870 Sapphire card i dont know if i should update my processor/mem/board or get a new gpu such as the 5870

i would say try running chkdsk /r in command prompt or hook that drive up and run it from another computer

stupid but good question, does the board you ordered support that processor, ive had the same problem in the past where only part of the cpu fits and the other doesnt its because i think it was a AM2 processor and not an AM2 mobo.
