Could mean the driver is not actually starting. In my experience , some drivers won't load if they don't pass the chain validation. Specifically in TPM devices.
According to your TV manual
It offers no extra information but mentions the soundbar is 2.1.2 channels. 2 Mid ranges and 2 for High frequencies. I guess it relies on the receiver to divide the frequencies so maybe yes, you need a receiver that can take the signal and sort it in the same...
Can't he buy a cheap matrix receiver to create a couple of fictitious channels ?
Because it does not include eARC. E-EDID does so. I believe your TV manufacturer may suggest to rely on spdif to route multi channel. Can you share the TV brand and model to dig a bit ?
I have used and enjoyed Dolby 4 headphones but often I ended up using Realtek's spatialization or some HRIR from Hesuvi. Try all of them and pick the one sounds better for you as sound perception is very personal thing
I read as I go. So end up knowing a bit of anything but not much about everything. That's a disclaimer I should made.
True but that's piezoelectric generated. Although sometimes you can blame the propagation method
Agree but that's ancient for sure. There are two things that must be separated...
ADSL is not ethernet
We are on the way to fix this
I mean, real analog. The one you face the source. However , there is not such thing as non-digital -
Déjà vu. Let's start a campaign against sound intermediaries .
Well, not soon but eventually, power management would get better and include...
So is Ethernet port fiber optics ? There is a copper wire from the back of your computer to the modem and it can keep up with sustained Gb Speed data transfer. Imagine how many "channels" I can download at a time :D .What I mean is that if the consumer market needed it, it would appear soon...
That' a lot of furniture .
Yeah, there is not much content there that actually squeeze roof and rear 3D channels . Because it is hard to put the viewer in the middle of the scene and make sense. Because you known, it is expensive. But let me deviate one more time with the future. I see...
Now, don't get me wrong because I know you are right about the technical capabilities of both standards but my questions is mainly : as a consumer, do i need 32 channels ? You are a sound enthusiast running a 7.1 setup. I have 2 ears and matching headphones and can mix in high order ambisonics...
People say so?
Believe me, I'm not the one who would defend HDMi. But I can understand their moves. They move according to consumer needs. 8 channels @ 44KHz was fine until it wasn't anymore. How many TVs do 7.1 , how good are 7.1 setups sold ? Can you take a 50Gbps link and have 8K but only...
lol
You know that eventually low voltage brain waves stimulation devices are going to transmit sound directly to your brain through your scalp tissue and it would be virtually real life experience ? I'm just trying to save you money for the next 10 years
