Yes, it feels much snapper. I mean 2019 was better, but I wouldn't use either over vb2022. Moving from a 32bit version to 64bit version should benefit you the most on a large project.

Great choice! The Quest 3 is great. I didn't think I would notice that much of a difference from Quest 2 to 3, but I'm glad I was wrong. The sweet spot is so much bigger these new pancake lenses are really good. I look forward to hear what you think about it.

I have upgraded to VS 2022 64bit. I would upgrade if possible due to VS2017 only being 32bit.

I don't think they can drop the price 150 bucks just by removing the controllers. In the BOM that I listed above only show 33 bucks for both controllers. There is rumors of a Quest lite without controllers and using fresnal lenses with one LCD panel. Honestly, I could not go back to Fresnal...

I'm not sure why it doesn't list AMD GPU's, but in the comments you can see people with AMD GPU's are using it.

Wow, Valve just launched an official Steam Link app on the Quest Store! I tried it last night and it worked amazing. It was super simple to use and so far the best wireless PCVR experience. This is huge for PCVR.

Yeah, it really is an investment but I like this approach better than being held down to one strap. The Quest 3 BOM leaked and it shows they are still selling the Quest line at a loss which is good for us. I'm really blown away at how good the Quest 3 is for $499 with today's inflation.
