    I will be leaving TPU!

Agreed. I've been visiting techPowerUp! nearly daily for the past 3 years now. Not only does techPowerUp! have excellent quality reviews, W1zzard's reviews (in particular, video card reviews) are the most fair and honest I've seen. Whenever I have any question on a video card's performance...

Kingston Digital Ships First 256GB USB Flash Drive in the U.S.

Agreed. It is quite impressive how fast technology moves along. I remember it wasn't long ago when 64MB and 128MB flash drives entered the market for crazy amounts of $$. To get a 8GB stick now for under $15-20 is really amazing. Still, I don't see any reason why you may need 256GB of storage...

Kingston Digital Ships First 256GB USB Flash Drive in the U.S.

It seems companies forgot one can get a 320GB 2.5" HDD for $75 and a 2.5" enclosure for $20-30, not to mention there are three USB 3.0 external HDDs for $150-180 on NewEgg right now. Hell, you can get a SSD that has built in USB 2.0 support. A flash drive beyond 16/32GB seems a bit pointless, no?

    DisplayLink to Adopt USB 3.0

USB 2.0's "only" .058GB/s bandwidth is more than enough to drive a 1680 x 1050 monitor. I used the eVGA UV Plus+ on my MacBook for a while and can say its a very good option for a quick and dirty additional monitor without having to worry about hardware (video card output) support. Sure, I won't...

Google Releases Chrome Beta for Linux and Mac

Compared to the 700MB to 1.4GB of ram FireFox takes up on Mac if you've left your system on for any short period of time, Chrome is slim. At the moment I have about 16 hours of uptime and FireFox is eating 743MB, even in idle without any tabs open. Chrome uses about 50MB when idling, and in...

PhotoFast Readies 4-bay MicroSDHC Reader Stick

    Why? Add 4x 16GB microSD cards and you're at ~$250+. A 64GB Flash drive is ~$150, and a 128GB stick is ~$350.

Left 4 Dead2 Demo released to everyone...

Yeah.. Went to get breakfast, and when I came back I noticed Steam was updating itself.. Moments later the "Pre-Order Game" button turned into a "Launch" button. Haven't tried it yet, but will give it a shot (no pun intended).

Left 4 Dead2 Demo released to everyone...

I installed the Demo, but in order to launch it it asks to buy the game. BS.

Galaxy Unveils First Single-Slot Air-Cooled GeForce GTX 260 Accelerator

Does that say 14200 μm? Pretty damn good caliper!

Arctic Cooling Announces Arctic NC USB-powered Notebook Cooler

What's the point of blowing cool air into the slot that hot air is being pushed out off? Sooner or later, the area around the laptop will become warm and you'll be pushing in warm air... Cooling is more effective when you blow cool air into the intake.

DFI Mashes Two Systems into One, Rolls out Hybrid Motherboard

Indeed. While buying a new LGA 775 motherboard feels silly now, it seemed more practical for a test run than a new Core i platform. Hopefully if sales are decent enough, DFI will release Hybrid ION + P55/X58 boards.

DFI Mashes Two Systems into One, Rolls out Hybrid Motherboard

For that same $400, can you buy a P45 motherboard, and stick a Micro machine, kvm switch, a usb switch, an extra nic and a gigabit hub into that same exact case? Sure, there are a lot of alternative solutions to this very expensive motherboard but for the cost you can't complain with the...

DFI Mashes Two Systems into One, Rolls out Hybrid Motherboard

Keep in mind though, this product will only be appealing to people who currently have two machines, or need two machines for whatever reasons. These people already know that they'll need two HDDs for two separate machines, two sets of operating systems and softwares for the two machines, as well...

DFI Mashes Two Systems into One, Rolls out Hybrid Motherboard

Holy shit, finally! I've been waiting for one of these for years. Yea, it's a tad expensive @ 399$ but it's a fantastic idea. It's perfect for people who don't have a lot of space, and need two systems. I'm soon moving over to a small HTPC case but require a second system to run as my FreeNAS...
