What's exactly happening when you put in your old cpu. For most part motherboards will a fail safe to prevent itself from frying but not all components on the mb are protected. Even a blown cap can prevent the mb from pushing the voltages to the cpu or other components. Age is also a thing u...
It's not always about the correct socket type with office pre-built pcs from hp or dell because sometimes they limit the cpu compatibility in their BIOS micro-code even in the same generation to prevent customers from getting too big of an upgrade due to low end vrms on their motherboards or low...
As far as I know that's not the case today as almost all the recent samsung phones( atleast from the last three years) get constant software updates along with monthly security updates. As far as their promise of long software upgrade support goes that's something only time will tell. Even...
Yeah I too have a pretty basic Corsair vengeance 6000Mhz kit paired with a ryzen cpu and till date its been working smooth as butter. The modules are damn stable at 1.1V and 5400Mhz also with slightly reduced timings.
Hello guys I hope u all r doing well! I recently upgraded from a 5 plus year old Oneplus 6 which in every aspect has been a flawless phone be it the software or the hardware or even the design. I loved it! I would have rocked it for another year if the battery could was not so bad. It was a...
My G502 Her0 gave up just when its warranty expired after 2 years. The primary switches on it developed the infamous double click issue and its pretty annoying even though the mouse stills works. I have switched to razer because of their optical switches. Been using a razer viper 8khz for the...
Your cpu is thermal throttling. Go to windows power options and reduce the "maximum processor state" under processor power management to say 90%. You will get slightly lower fps but consistent fps.
I would suggest you redo/replug all the power connections from the psu to the motherboard and the other devices. You can also try reseating the cpu. Or it maybe simply because of outdated/incompatible drivers.
My Corsair kits work fine with XMP on a AMD machine. I have also managed to decrease...
That depends on the games you play If they are esports titles then yes. I don't play dota 2 so can't say about that but in csgo, valorant and other fps titles this card will easily give you 240+ fps at 1080 with a decent cpu. Go for Nvidia if you really want RT performance as this card seriously...
Maybe the thermal compound was not genuine or not applied properly (even too much thermal compound can hinder heat transfer as its just meant to fill up the gaps between two metal contacts) which led to inadequate heat transfer from the IHS to the heatsink. Try using a different thermal compound...
An RX6700XT is a much better choice as compared to the rx 6600 series because it not only has 50% more vram but also has proper 16 lanes pcie connector. A rx 6600xt only has 8gb vram and a 8x pcie lane. For $70 extra dollars its absolutely worth it considering some games of today easily use up...
I can now confirm that on my motherboard with BIOS 1.24 (latest stable) the BOOT times even with XMP profile has come down to normal (5-10 secs) as opposed to 30-40 secs on every boot with early versions. I do however have Memory Context Restore turned ON. So yeah patience is the only way...
I recently changed my RAM default timings from 40-40-40-77 to 38-38-38-77 via the MB BIOS while keeping the default 4800MHz frequency. The boot times have not been affected by this at all and it takes around 20 secs to boot into windows log in screen. I haven't tried loading XMP with the latest...
Adrenalin 22.11.2 hasn't worked for. In fact things have become worse as now even with one monitor the game stutters ( with sudden fps drops) when any video is running in the background (be it in VLC or in the browser). DOCP is disable btw.
