Bought it and the key caps wore out in weeks playing PUBG... and the different colour backlighting would have been so much better if it had been a single solid colour. But great feel for typing
This is an ideal example of the wrong internals - should be an AMD A75 mobo and a A8-3850 APU. The Intel may have better processing - but who cares in an HTPC? It's about good graphics at 1080p, low power...

not sure I'd buy memory because of the heat spreader design
- low profile, yes - if it don't fit what's the point
- low energy, probably not if I'm overclocking the cpu
- low latency, perhaps
- high density, perhaps
- low cost, definitely
- funky heat spreader graphix, errrrrrr
What a great review - thanks for all the time and effort. So, from what I can see, the A8-3850 only makes sense if you're buying a vanilla pc for vanilla pc work - an office PC, where some gpu acceleration would be nice, but you're not going to go to a full graphics card...
go for a better screen - something with HDMI, DVI inputs - screens last forever so get the best you can afford... regarding the GPU - get the 5770 and when you get some more money, get another!
depends of if your 4850 is a 512 or a 1024 - if it's the latter it'll run faster at the higher res of the new screen, and worth crossfire-ing with a similar card. If the 512MB card, then sell and upgrade as you'll never get a better price for it than now...
