Hardware Failure: 13700k CPU errors started out of the blue, especially while using the GPU

Looks like it is the ram OC, or more likely its voltage. I decided to default that.... I passed the first 30 minute OCCT test (CPU+Kombustor) that usually errors after 2-4 minutes. It was only a small bump up to 3800 from 3600; but the latest motherboard bios' reduced DRAM power efficiency...

Hardware Failure: 13700k CPU errors started out of the blue, especially while using the GPU

I run a 3080-ti on Gigabyte z690 Gaming X mobo, 13700k with Deepcool LS520 - 240mm liquid CPU cooler. Corsair RM 850x 80+ Gold 2019 PSU. Been fine for 16 months. Using latest bios/intel/nvidia drivers. Had no problems before. No overclock... the crashing began with Cyberpunk black screening...

Do you know the minimum nvidia components required for for nvidia app to function properly?

High pitched and static noise directly from motherboard (behind CPU backplate)

Disabling c-states fixed my coil whine also, on a 13700k, Gigabyte Z690. In this intel bios, you can either blanket disable them all, or disable many individual C-States. You can also disable C-States for the cores, and or the package as a whole (via Package C-State limit). I decided to try...

Strange, new "BIOS Boot Logo" appears temporarily, with higher resolution, then disappears after 3'rd boot [Gigabyte Gaming X Z690]

And for passing the U.S. Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) to become an illegitimately certified pope fauci, to the same effect. I had asked a very knowledgeable computer security expert about malware persistence in memory while warm rebooting, he said at the time that while dram on the...

Strange, new "BIOS Boot Logo" appears temporarily, with higher resolution, then disappears after 3'rd boot [Gigabyte Gaming X Z690]

If AI can pass U.S. Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) tests, then I'm sure it can be helpful with computer security; that said, Poe is often wrong, so as with everything, always try to confirm the information. What would cause the initial boot screen and windows logo to run at a higher...

Strange, new "BIOS Boot Logo" appears temporarily, with higher resolution, then disappears after 3'rd boot [Gigabyte Gaming X Z690]

I did a full power cycle on reboot to help clear any potential persistent threats in the process, but even then I can only vaguely remember one time it did this before. Could have been a bios glitch. The fact it booted at a higher resolution also suggested to me it could have been vbios related...

Strange, new "BIOS Boot Logo" appears temporarily, with higher resolution, then disappears after 3'rd boot [Gigabyte Gaming X Z690]

When I rebooted my PC today I was met with a new bios boot logo, that I have not seen before... actually this may have happened once a few months ago if I remember correctly. After that, the windows logo appeared and it was of a higher resolution, perhaps 1080p or 1440p... Suspecting the...

Unlock VPro security features on Consumer Intel 12'th, 13'th gen CPU/BIOS?

Yeah... I found a way around this, using Hirens Boot CD (Windows 10 PE), gets around windows hardware obfuscations... running HWINFO inside that allows you to determine what features are actually available. On 13'th gen intel, SMX is available and active according to HWINFO, but there is a bit...

[Feature request] add checkbox to automatically install Nvenc patch

Same issue here. I'm using the latest nvidia driver release, which doesn't currently have a nvenc patch, could this be part of the problem?

Unlock VPro security features on Consumer Intel 12'th, 13'th gen CPU/BIOS?

Interesting to note you have VMX & SMX as well. VMX is enabled in my bios, but showing unavailable in HWinfo. Strange. Why do you think that could be? I opened a thread here. Do you have HVCI enabled / core memory isolation?

Unlock VPro security features on Consumer Intel 12'th, 13'th gen CPU/BIOS?

Interesting, its not even listed. I know it used to a couple years ago, or did for the 3600 on my computer. But its dissassembeled. I'll have to report on my findings there after Christmas once I have the gear to put it together. There is a newer HWiNFO64 release, V7.34. You might want to try...

Unlock VPro security features on Consumer Intel 12'th, 13'th gen CPU/BIOS?

Nice! I'll send a few emails around and put some pressure on Gigabyte to unlock TME if it is in fact possible. How did you confirm that TSME was functional? It should be listed in HWINFO or some other app. Ah thats right, I did confirm it in HWiNFO a few years ago. Update: In fact, TME is...
